Description
This module provides support workers with the knowledge, skills and approaches to keep themselves as physically safe as possible.

It is specifically for residential support workers that engage with people who require behaviour support on a daily and direct basis.

Topics: dressing appropriately | preparing before a shift begins | the environment | where you position yourself | body language | Your approach | verbal communication | high-risk situations

Approximate time to complete module: 20 to 30 minutes (not including time spent looking at additional resources)
